What are the health requirements to travel to Aruba?

 You can simply visit the Aruba travel website at https://www.aruba.com/us/traveler-health-requirements and read the requirements that meet your needs.   

Is the Villa a shared space?

Yes, Casa Mi Cielo was designed to provide its guests 4 private suites two at each end of the villa that allow maximum privacy yet you are not isolated from the world.  We have two suites with private bathrooms and two suites with a shared bathroom between them both.    

Is the WIFI reiliable?

Absolutely, the host and the guest all work from home in most cases.  Free powerful and reliable WIFI is available 24 hours a day.   

Is there a quiet space for me to work outside of my suite?

YES! Each guest at the Villa has the luxury of selecting a dedicated area to work on craft at any of our 6 mindfully designed Workation areas throughout the Villa.  

Workation areas include:

**Paulo Coehlo Media & Library Area

**Entryway Think Tank

**The Great Room

**Master Dining Area

**Outside Rear Nature Deck

**Kitchen Counter Area 

Each guest will find enough space to work privately and peacefully within our common Villa space. At Casa Mi Cielo you have the choice of being within your Suite or congregating within the Villa common areas. 

Are food and drinks included with my reservation?

No, you are responsible for your own food, seasonings and, drinks.  We can and will suggest the best places to shop and get a good local deal. 

Can I use the kitchen to cook?

Yes!  Guest are encouraged to make home cooked meals.  And sometimes guests have dinner together.

Where can I store my food or items?

Each suite is assigned a private pantry space and a dedicated shelf in our stainless steel large refrigerator.  We have a large kitchen with plenty of cabinet space in case you require some extra space. 

Am I allowed visitors?

Yes! We require to be informed of any guests that you may have coming.  Due to health safety protocols we limit the amount of outside visitors to visit the unit itself.  You can have visitors, you must simply notify us and respect the space and boundaries of our other Remote Work guests. 

What area is Casa Mi Cielo located in?

Casa Mi Cielo is conveniently located in the Noord section of Aruba, in the Malmok Beach neighborhood.   

Is the Villa located in a safe area?

YES! Aruba has one of the worlds lowest crime rates.  You can feel comfortable knowing that you are on a safe island and in a safer neighborhood.   

Do I need to rent a car while visiting?

A car is recommended if you plan on getting around a lot in Aruba.  There are taxi services as well.  You can always walk to the beach and other points of interest since we are located in high end area.  Yet to get around effectively you should consider renting a car during your stay. 

How far is the Villa from the beach?

We are located just minutes from 3 lovely beaches in Aruba.  Malmok Beach, Arashi Beach and Boca Catalina Beach.  Here you can experience a daily sunset, snorkel, swim, tan, BBQ and, see the ships as they stop by with people to also snorkel these lovely waters.  All free of course.  You are also minutes away from Palm Beach and Eagle Beach.

What is the nightlife like in Aruba?

Aruba has a vibrant nightlife with great restaurants and lounges.  There are many pockets in Aruba one can visit and explore.  Please always check for local times and hours of operations prior to your arrival.

Are there water sports and activities near Casa Mi Cielo?

Yes! You can snorkel and swim literally a few minutes walk from the Villa at Malmok Beach. You can also go to Arashi Beach and explore the depths in a SeaBob.  Nearby you can also Kite Surf, Parasail, Scuba dive, and reserve a Catamaran or private Yacht.  There are plenty of water sports and activities nearby.

How are near are the local markets, shops and stores?

You can drive to many local food markets within minutes.  Tourist shopping districts are about 15 minutes from the Villa.  Supermarkets are also pretty abundant and not far from the Villa.  

Is parking available at the Villa?

YES! We have free private parking for all our guests located at the property.

Are children allowed?

Yes! Children over the age of 12 years old are allowed and are considered a guest as well.  

How near is the Airport?

Aruba's international airport is only 11.6KM away. roughly 16 minutes straight on one road.

Is my room securely locked?

YES! Each suite has a door, lock and key for your maximum security and privacy.

Should I reserve a car?

YES, We would recommend reserving a car during your stay if you plan on exploring the island.  There are buses but the service is less frequent and some places do not have bus service.  Rental cars are pretty affordable in Aruba.  

Is a COVID 19 tet required to enter the country?

YES. A test is required upon arrival at the airport.  If you do not have a test you can take one at the airport for $75.  It is advisable to download the Aruba Health App and complete your registration before traveling into Aruba.  It is a very simple process.
